🔍 About the Role:

You’ll lead a team of 15 Payments Risk analysts focused on ensuring the security and integrity of Coinbase’s payment systems by managing fraud risk, escalating cases, and improving operational workflows. This leadership role involves coaching, performance management, and close collaboration with workforce management and cross-functional teams.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of 15 Payments Risk analysts.
• Drive achievement of SLA, productivity, and quality goals for your team.
• Collaborate with Program, Quality, and Training teams to enhance workflows and processes.
• Manage initiatives to reduce chargebacks, customer appeals, and maintain balanced enforcement.
• Use data and metrics to guide business decisions and identify product/operational gaps.
• Conduct audits ensuring compliance with fraud detection policies.
• Lead projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

👤 What Coinbase Looks for in You:

• Passion for Coinbase’s mission and delivering great customer support experience.
• 5+ years of fraud combat experience in e-commerce or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years managing people in operations.
• Strong analytical skills with deep knowledge of fraud patterns.
• Proven leadership of engaged, high-performing teams using data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong motivation and accountability.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-growth environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Hyderabad.

• Experience with crypto exchanges or financial services (payments, trading ops, support).
• Background in project management, analytics, or quality assurance.
• Degree in business, finance, customer experience, or blockchain.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, JIRA, AWS, Salesforce Service Cloud.
