Role Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for Adyen’s global merchants—supporting integration, resolving technical issues, and optimizing payment operations across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a platform and API expert for merchants.
• Support merchants throughout their full lifecycle (integration, expansion, operations).
• Advise on best practices for implementation and issue resolution.
• Act as an internal advocate by relaying feedback from merchants to product teams.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams globally to ensure success.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Solid problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing environments.
• Technical knowledge of web technologies (SQL, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Java, scripting).
• Self-driven, accountable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Experience in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
• STEM degree preferred but not mandatory.
