Coinbase is seeking a Threat Intelligence Engineer to develop tooling and automation within its threat intel platform (Vertex Synapse) to defend against advanced cyber threats. You'll play a key role in improving threat detection, response, and enrichment pipelines as the company scales globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop enrichments, tagging, and automations in Vertex Synapse
• Build tools to meet intelligence collection and stakeholder needs
• Enhance threat intel data processing: IoC collection, analysis, enrichment
• Rapidly prototype and iterate tools to support evolving security operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational security requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience with Vertex Synapse in threat intelligence environments
• Strong software development background, especially in security tooling
• Experience managing and processing security telemetry data
• Excellent problem-solving and data correlation skills
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player
