📌 Role Overview

As a TMS Compliance Analyst III, you will be an integral part of the CX Compliance Team, responsible for transaction monitoring investigations, SAR drafting, and BSA/AML compliance. You will work closely with Financial Crime Risk teams and ensure high-quality compliance processes with minimal guidance.

This role is ideal for a self-starter with a deep understanding of financial crime compliance, a strong investigative mindset, and a sharp eye for detail in a 24/7 fast-paced environment.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end investigations on flagged transactions, alerts, and law enforcement referrals.
• Draft clear and concise Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Analyze transaction activity, KYC data, and customer behavior across multiple Coinbase products.
• Research using external tools and document findings with detailed narratives.
• Escalate and recommend suspicious activity for SAR filings.
• Stay up-to-date with BSA/AML, OFAC, and global compliance standards.
• Maintain comprehensive and auditable documentation for internal/external review.
• Incorporate feedback from the Quality Assurance team to continuously improve investigation standards.

✅ Required Qualifications

• 4+ years in financial services, crypto, legal, or regulatory roles with a focus on TMS or compliance.
• Strong SAR drafting experience.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Google Suite, Excel, and investigation documentation.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in high-growth environments.
• Willingness to support in a 24x7 work model.

✨ Nice to Haves

• Professional certifications like CAMS, CFCS, or CFE.
• Background in project management, analytics, or vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with tools like Salesforce Service Cloud, JIRA, Hummingbird, etc.
• Previous experience collaborating with BPOs or external vendors.
• Advanced degree in business, finance, or customer experience (CX) is a plus.
