🔍 Role Summary

As a TMS Compliance Analyst III, you’ll play a critical role in Coinbase’s Customer Experience (CX) Compliance team. You’ll be responsible for performing end-to-end transaction monitoring investigations, drafting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and maintaining meticulous documentation to ensure regulatory compliance with BSA/AML and OFAC obligations.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in compliance investigations, risk analysis, and a proactive attitude toward working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Investigate transaction alerts, law enforcement referrals, and internal escalations
• Conduct KYC reviews, evaluate transactional activity, and research external sources
• Draft SAR narratives and make recommendations for escalation or closure
• Stay updated on global regulatory changes (BSA/AML, OFAC, etc.)
• Collaborate with QA and other teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in decisions
• Ensure thorough documentation aligned with Coinbase’s compliance policies

✅ Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in financial services, compliance, crypto, or tech
• Demonstrated experience with SAR drafting and filing
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Hands-on knowledge of tools like Google Sheets, Docs, Excel
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 operational environment
• Attention to detail and ability to handle high-risk case reviews independently

✨ Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• AML/Fraud Certifications: CAMS, CFCS, or CFE
• Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud, Hummingbird, JIRA
• Background in project management or working with outsourced partners
• Advanced degree in finance, business, or compliance-related fields
