The Transaction Monitoring Investigations Global Lead at Binance is a remote position based in Singapore that involves leading and managing Binance's global transaction monitoring program. The role requires strategic oversight of both on-chain and off-chain transaction monitoring operations to ensure compliance with AML regulations and global financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Global Transaction Monitoring Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of transaction monitoring globally, ensuring efficient investigations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
2. Leadership: Lead a high-performing team across multiple jurisdictions, mentoring and developing team members, and ensuring effective communication with senior management.
3. Compliance Strategy: Take ownership of cross-functional projects to enhance transaction monitoring capabilities, mitigate risks, and ensure the company’s compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly monitor team productivity, ensuring that investigations meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and report critical compliance issues to senior management.
5. Process Improvement: Continuously improve transaction monitoring processes to enhance compliance control effectiveness, ensuring the company's operations meet the required regulatory standards.
6. Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on emerging risks and crypto regulations, adapting compliance processes to maintain Binance’s position as an industry leader.
7. Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships with key business stakeholders and ensure timely compliance activity completion, regulatory reporting, and audits.
8. Compliance Tools: Utilize tools like Chainalysis, Elliptic, and case management systems to monitor transactions and manage compliance activities.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in compliance, with at least 5 years in leading global Transaction Monitoring teams.
• Crypto Experience: Familiarity with on-chain crypto monitoring is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Proven knowledge of AML regulations, criminal typologies, and operational leadership in a compliance role.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex compliance topics to non-experts and influence stakeholders.
• Certifications: Certifications such as CAMS, CFE, etc., are preferred.
