Role Overview:
As the Associate Director of Trust & Safety Analytics, you will lead platform-wide initiatives to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud, risk, and abuse, using advanced data science and decision analytics. This leadership role sits at the intersection of risk management, data strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end fraud, risk, and abuse strategy across all business units and methods of operation
- Mentor and guide analytics teams to build effective detection and resolution frameworks
- Align T&S goals with company-wide leadership across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data Science
- Drive development of predictive, early-detection, and governance capabilities
- Analyze data to identify fraud patterns and root causes, driving both immediate and long-term actions
- Create and implement processes to improve team efficiency, productivity, and strategic alignment
- Monitor industry trends, regulations, and policy shifts to evolve fraud prevention strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorās in Engineering or Masterās in Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in analytics and decision-making, preferably in fraud and risk functions
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Experience implementing fraud prevention strategies in complex data environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience:
- Background in Trust & Safety, Risk Management, Fraud Analytics, or Financial Crimes
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and risk governance best practices
- Experience working in high-scale consumer tech or fintech companies
