Role Summary:

Lead Udemy’s growth through strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and investments. Manage the entire M&A lifecycle, develop corporate development strategy, and collaborate with executives to accelerate market position in the education technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute M&A strategy aligned with company goals
• Lead deal sourcing, negotiation, due diligence, and integration
• Build and manage pipeline of acquisition targets and strategic partners
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis
• Oversee cross-functional due diligence teams
• Structure deals to optimize value and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with executive team and report to board
• Lead and mentor corporate development team

Requirements:

• 15+ years experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting
• Proven success in sourcing, executing, and integrating acquisitions
• Strong financial acumen including valuation and deal structuring
• Experience in edtech or related industries preferred
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
