Okto offers a self-custody DeFi wallet for various services like trade, earn, and futures, and has developed a blockchain and token, which will help in delivering chain abstraction and orchestration for emerging consumer apps in Web3. The platform currently has 5M+ customers and is focused on expanding its user base while scaling up its revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Engineers, Engineering Managers, and QAs. Set the engineering strategy alongside the CTO and other technology leaders.
• Team Management: Support all aspects of team management, including recruitment, mentoring, training, performance evaluation, and team development.
• Product and Customer Focus: Drive the development of high-quality products by raising the bar on functionality, usability, and simplicity to improve customer experience.
• Process and Improvement: Establish metrics and processes for regular engineering assessment and improvement. Champion operational excellence and create an environment for engineering teams to do their best work.
• Agile Practices: Lead the agile software processes for the team, introducing best practices to improve development processes.
• Technical Debt Management: Ensure that technical debt is managed well, keeping development velocity high and minimizing production incidents.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years in Software Engineering, with at least 2-3 years in Web3.
• Leadership: 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, ideally managing teams of managers.
• Software Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile principles. Expertise in developing mobile apps, high-scale backend services, or consumer-facing products.
• Business Acumen: Proven understanding of business dynamics and how engineering fits into CoinDCX’s overall business strategy.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytic skills and a demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability. Proficiency in various aspects of software development.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English, for effective interaction with teams and stakeholders.
