Role Overview

As the Social Media Manager (Part-time), you'll manage Orca's social media presence and help grow the platform’s community. This includes creating content for platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn, developing marketing strategies, and analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns to expand Orca's reach.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Develop targeted and engaging content for platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn, ensuring it aligns with Orca’s brand.
• Marketing Strategy: Create and execute Orca’s social media marketing plan, including ranking channels, identifying success metrics, and running campaigns.
• Collaboration: Work with different teams to promote product launches and expand Orca's presence in the DeFi space.
• Growth Culture: Implement data-driven strategies to improve post performance and foster growth.
• Community Expansion: Continue to grow Orca's reach to both new and existing DeFi users.

Required Skills & Experience

• Crypto Twitter Expertise: Deep understanding of crypto Twitter, particularly within the Solana community.
• DeFi Experience: Significant hands-on experience using Orca or other Solana DeFi protocols.
• Knowledge of AMMs: Understanding of Automated Market Makers (AMMs) and the DeFi ecosystem.
• Successful Campaigns: Proven track record of executing successful social media campaigns across multiple channels.
• Creative & Analytical Thinking: Ability to think both creatively and analytically to engage with the community and optimize campaigns.

• Salary: $30,000 - $50,000 USDC (for US employees).

Hiring Process

1. Initial Screen (60 min): With Isaac (COO) to discuss your social media experience, crypto Twitter familiarity, and to learn about Orca.
2. Second Round (60 min): With Nathan (CEO) to assess your knowledge of Solana, DeFi, and AMMs.
3. Final Round (60 min each): Back-to-back interviews with Gloria (Marketing), tmoc (CPO), and Ki (Head of BD).
