Job Description:
Canva is seeking an Account Executive to join the Flourish team. The role will focus on building relationships, driving sales, and engaging with new customers in the North American market. As an Account Executive, you’ll be tasked with identifying customer needs, creating tailored solutions, and managing the sales cycle from start to finish. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team within Canva, driving growth and expanding Flourish’s reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Relationships & Identify Needs:
- Develop strong relationships with potential customers and understand their needs to create tailored solutions.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Work closely with legal, security, and senior stakeholders to negotiate and close complex contracts.
- Sales Plan Development:
- Develop and execute a sales plan aimed at exceeding sales goals, ensuring successful customer acquisition.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with teams such as marketing to drive new business growth through events and campaigns.
- Outbound Sales:
- Take a proactive approach by leveraging best practices for outbound sales, reaching out to large global brands.
- Pitching & Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients, managing the sales process and ensuring smooth transitions to customer success teams.
Qualifications:
- Sales Experience:
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS digital sales experience, ideally with a focus on media, web content, or data.
- Proven Sales Skills:
- Demonstrated ability in outbound prospecting and lead conversion, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and content trends, which will enable you to speak effectively with clients in these industries.
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell to blue-chip brands and senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset:
- A dynamic, self-driven individual who thrives in an empowered, autonomous environment.
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of another European language is a plus.
