Role Overview:
Braintrust is looking for a Brand Designer to define, develop, and execute our visual identity to distinguish us as a leader in the AI development space. As a key member of the design team, you’ll shape our brand and visual systems across our website, application, advertising, sales, and marketing materials.
You’ll be responsible for creating and evolving visual strategies, from web design to event swag and everything in between, and collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand presence.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish & Evolve Visual Identity: Lead the development of a visual design strategy that reflects Braintrust’s mission to developers as an end-to-end AI development platform.
- Creative Leadership: Drive the creative direction for key brand and marketing efforts, including landing pages, product launches, events, and sales materials.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work alongside a multidisciplinary design team and collaborate with internal and external partners on creative strategy, execution, and production.
- Shape Brand Experience: Contribute to the evolution of Braintrust's visual aesthetic and strategic vision to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience.
- Design System Ownership: Define design guidelines, principles, and systems that ensure a cohesive and intuitive brand experience across various touchpoints.
- Fast-paced Execution: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to ship high-quality work quickly and efficiently.
What You’ll Need:
- Strong Portfolio: Proven ability to create visually appealing and thoughtful brand experiences. Your portfolio should showcase your expertise in visual design.
- Design Fundamentals Expertise: A refined grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and other design principles.
- Marketing Assets Experience: Proven experience leading design across marketing assets like landing pages, decks, in-person events, and large-scale campaigns.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and attention to detail across all mediums.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work in a small, passionate team and collaborate effectively.
- Developer Audience Expertise: Experience designing for technical products with a deep understanding of developer audiences.
- Bonus - Coding Skills: If you enjoy coding and shipping your own designs, that’s a big plus!
