Salary: $211,650 - $249,000/year

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and build full-stack engineering teams focused on web and mobile features and infrastructure.
• Coach and grow your team, supporting their career development.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and leadership to define and execute a clear roadmap.
• Drive high-quality engineering practices and architectural decisions.
• Work hands-on as needed — coding, reviewing, incident handling, bug triaging.
• Partner with recruiting to hire top engineering talent aligned with Coinbase culture.
• Own and improve engineering processes that ensure quality and meet SLAs.

What They Want From You:

• 7+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years managing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of high-quality code and software processes.
• Experience managing full-stack teams across web and mobile.
• Ability to break down complex projects and deliver iteratively.
• Hands-on technical skills and leadership in architecture decisions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Execution-focused, comfortable working in ambiguity.

Nice to Have:

• Experience leading product teams.
• Familiarity with React, React Native, GraphQL, Golang, Kubernetes, MongoDB.
• Background in financial or high-reliability systems, microservices.
• Experience building subscription platforms.
• Crypto knowledge (onchain activity, Ethereum, ENS, dApps).
