Position: Business Development Consultant — New Business Sales
Location: Bengaluru, India (On-site)
Type: Full-Time
Minimum Requirements:
✔ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
✔ 2+ years in business development, sales, or related fields
✔ Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in marketing campaigns, stakeholder management, and relationship-building
- Familiarity with business, consulting, media, or advertising industries
- Strong understanding of the Indian market and media (both digital and traditional)
- Proficiency in Tamil, Telugu, or Kannada (helps manage clients from South India)
- Comfortable analyzing data, working with spreadsheets, and creating presentations
- Excellent client presentation and communication skills
Role Overview:
You will work with small and medium businesses (SMBs) across India, helping them grow using Google’s advertising products. You’ll act as a trusted advisor by building long-term relationships, understanding client needs, and designing custom digital marketing solutions.
You'll also partner with internal teams like Marketing, Product, and Customer Solutions to ensure every client gets the best from Google.
Key Responsibilities:
🔸 Manage a pipeline of new business leads, prospecting actively to create opportunities
🔸 Consult with C-level executives and decision-makers to optimize their digital marketing strategies
🔸 Develop marketing solutions that address client needs and improve ROI
🔸 Perform market research and competitor analysis
🔸 Collaborate across teams to deliver world-class client experiences
🔸 Forecast and report on new business sales opportunities
