What We’re Looking For: We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Development Manager with an established network in the fintech and financial services space. The ideal candidate will be skilled at developing, managing, and growing large partner relationships and strategic ecosystem initiatives. You should have experience in partnerships, sales, or business development related to fintech or crypto products such as KYC solutions, BaaS, custody infrastructure, crypto wallets, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Landing & Growing Partnerships: Develop and expand strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including fintech platforms, financial services providers, and crypto companies.
- Advisor and Thought Leader: Be a trusted advisor to 3rd party partners on all things related to Rain and our products.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to design and deliver events, content, and promotional offers.
- Growth Programming: Create robust activation programs to help Rain grow within the LATAM region.
- Achieve Business Objectives: Deliver on key company-level business objectives and track progress against defined targets.
- Communication & Documentation: Ensure clear, articulate communication across all teams and maintain deal hygiene using sales tools.
What You Will Bring:
- BA/BS Required: An advanced degree is a plus.
- 6+ Years of Experience: In Business Development or related fields with a proven track record of managing complex partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work across teams and manage deals throughout the lifecycle.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems to achieve concrete goals.
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese: Essential for working with LATAM stakeholders.
- Desirable Experience:Experience in B2B sales and working with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Experience or interest in fintech, crypto, or blockchain technology.
- Experience working in both U.S. and LATAM regions.
