The Role: Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

The CIO will lead Swan’s investment strategy, institutional engagement, and capital allocation, driving new opportunities for Bitcoin adoption at the corporate and institutional level.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative Bitcoin-based financial structures for corporate and institutional clients.
• Lead partnerships with corporate treasury clients and institutions looking to adopt Bitcoin.
• Expand institutional relationships with sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and corporate treasuries.
• Manage investment strategies including Bitcoin Treasury and Leveraged Bitcoin Equity (LBE).
• Drive fund formation and capital allocation aligned with Swan’s business objectives.
• Navigate regulatory landscapes and oversee investment risk management.
• Build and lead a high-performing investment team to scale Swan’s institutional engagement.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate

• 15+ years of investment leadership (Wall Street experience preferred).
• Expertise in capital markets, portfolio management, and financial risk assessment.
• Strong institutional network within investment banking, hedge funds, private equity, or asset management.
• Deep commitment to Bitcoin as a strategic asset (vs. general crypto investments).
• Ability to articulate Bitcoin’s role in corporate treasury and institutional portfolios.
• Experience in Bitcoin financial structures (preferred but not required).
• NYC-based preferred, but remote candidates considered.

Compensation

💰 $500,000 – $800,000 USD (Base Salary + Bonus + Equity + Benefits)
