About The Role:

Fold is seeking a Compliance Manager with 7+ years of experience in compliance, third-party risk management, and regulatory oversight in credit cards, consumer lending, or fintech. This role focuses on ensuring compliance for Fold’s Bitcoin Rewards Credit Card program and other related products. The Compliance Manager will be the key liaison between Fold, its program manager, and sponsor bank to ensure all contractual and regulatory obligations are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Third-Party Compliance Monitoring & Testing:
• Conduct regular compliance assessments to ensure adherence to Fold’s contractual obligations with the program manager and sponsor bank.
• Develop and execute a compliance monitoring program, including audits and data reviews.
• Ensure underwriting and servicing activities meet regulatory and contractual standards.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the compliance liaison between Fold, the program manager, and the sponsor bank.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports, risk assessments, and audit results to the sponsor bank.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance gaps.
• Regulatory & Contractual Adherence:
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, and other relevant financial regulations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of compliance processes and risk assessments.
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements.
• Incident & Issue Management:
• Investigate compliance breaches, operational failures, or contractual violations.
• Work with legal and risk teams to implement corrective actions.
• Establish protocols for ongoing third-party risk evaluation and issue tracking.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in third-party risk management, financial compliance, and regulatory reporting (fintech, banking, or credit card programs).
• Deep expertise in financial regulations such as BSA/AML, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, and consumer lending compliance.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, testing, and audit execution for credit card programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with external partners.
