About the Role:

Binance is looking for a Compliance Operations Analyst to handle Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for AUSTRAC and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). This role reviews escalated cases from global compliance teams and ensures timely and accurate reporting aligned with regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess escalated cases from L1/L2 compliance teams
• Prepare and submit detailed SMRs/SARs to AUSTRAC and the FIU
• Ensure reports meet all compliance, accuracy, and deadline requirements
• Maintain proper documentation for all submitted reports
• Coordinate with global compliance teams to gather necessary case information
• Support audits and respond to regulatory inquiries
• Stay current on AML/CTF regulations and reporting requirements

Requirements:

• Experience in AML compliance, with a focus on suspicious matter reporting
• In-depth understanding of AUSTRAC and FIU obligations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple reporting cases simultaneously
