Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Creative Director to join our growing team at OpenSea. In this role, you will spearhead the creative direction for one of the most influential brands in the NFT space. You will work closely with design teams, product managers, and marketers to craft an innovative, compelling, and cohesive brand identity that resonates with our diverse community of users, creators, and collectors.

As the Creative Director, you’ll lead the visual direction of Web3 projects, including NFT collections, cryptocurrency products, and digital experiences that drive the future of digital ownership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and define the creative vision for OpenSea’s brand, including visual identity, user interface design, and product aesthetics.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute high-impact creative campaigns across digital platforms.
• Design and conceptualize engaging experiences for users within the Web3 and NFT ecosystems.
• Create inspiring and innovative branding, packaging, and promotional assets for NFTs, smart contracts, and blockchain-based products.
• Oversee the development of digital assets, maintaining the brand's visual integrity across web, social media, email marketing, and digital content.
• Collaborate with artists, creators, and other stakeholders to bring unique NFT collections to life and ensure their alignment with OpenSea’s brand strategy.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in the blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and NFT spaces to ensure OpenSea remains at the forefront of digital creativity.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in creative direction, branding, or design, preferably within the NFT, Web3, or blockchain sectors.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling, innovative designs for digital products and campaigns.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software.
• In-depth understanding of NFTs, cryptocurrency, smart contracts, and blockchain technology, with a passion for Web3.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
• A strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing digital experiences.
• Experience in building brand identity for fast-paced, innovative companies in the crypto or tech space is a plus.
