About the Role:
At Amazon, the Customer Service team plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to customers. As a Customer Service Associate, you will directly contribute to our mission to be Earth’s most customer-centric company. This role offers flexibility and allows you to interact with customers via phone, chat, and email, assisting with everything from product inquiries to order and payment-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping resolve queries related to orders, products, payments, and website navigation.
- Problem Solving: Instead of following scripts, you’ll leverage your unique problem-solving skills to provide tailored solutions.
- Multi-tasking: You’ll work with various tools to find solutions, communicate effectively with customers, and ensure their experience is seamless.
Work Hours:
- This role requires working variable shifts to accommodate customer demand, including overnight, day, or late shifts.
- The work week is minimum 40 hours, with shift patterns spanning from 6 am to 11 pm, Sunday to Monday.
- You may be required to work on national holidays.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Customer-focused: Friendly, approachable, and able to handle customer interactions with empathy.
- Fast learner: Ability to quickly adapt to changes and handle multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
- Attention to detail: Articulate and precise in all communication.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- Right to work in India
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Computer skills: Comfortable working with a computer
- Availability: Flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
