Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist in Advanced Analytics, your main responsibility will be to design and implement robust data solutions that are scalable, secure, and insightful. You’ll work across the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and processing to analysis and transformation—bringing AI-powered insights into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and support data pipelines (batch & near real-time).
• Architect future-ready data solutions aligned with business goals.
• Use ETL tools such as IBM DataStage and cloud-based services to manage data flows.
• Write and optimize T-SQL code for complex data transformation tasks.
• Apply data warehousing and OLAP techniques for scalable analytics.
• Understand and integrate modern data architectures and cloud platforms into solutions.
• Identify, assess, and communicate technical risks effectively.
• Lead data transformation initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, simplifying technical solutions for business stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics.
• Hands-on with IBM DataStage and cloud ETL services (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
• Expertise in writing complex T-SQL code.
• Familiar with data warehouse schemas, dimensional modeling, and OLAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage project resources and timelines.
• Strong understanding of data governance, information management, and analytics platforms.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Proven experience leading data science or data engineering projects.
• Business systems design and data modeling expertise.
• Background in cross-functional consulting or client-facing environments.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
