About the Role:

As a Database Reliability Engineer focused on ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, you’ll maintain and automate scalable, cloud-based data systems. You'll support critical database services across platforms like Kafka, Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and automate ElasticSearch/OpenSearch and other database clusters
• Operate databases in Kubernetes and manage container images
• Build infrastructure for engineering teams to support DevOps practices
• Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with support and engineering
• Ensure high availability and data integrity at petabyte scale

Requirements:

• Strong experience with ElasticSearch/OpenSearch and large-scale datastore technologies
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Chef for configuration and scripting
• Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI)
• Experience in Linux-based environments and containerization
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
