Job Overview:

GoDaddy is building a central platform to manage CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) for all of its applications. They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development and growth of this platform. You will work on automating infrastructure, adding features to the UI, and tackling problems that improve the efficiency and security of GoDaddy’s developer platform.

The team you’ll be joining is small but highly effective, working remotely across various time zones, from the US to the UK. You’ll be involved in projects that improve resilience, quality, and overall developer experience across all internal platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Delivery:
• Deliver new features that directly benefit GoDaddy engineers worldwide, ensuring high impact and value.
• Platform Improvements:
• Continuously enhance platform resilience and quality by addressing issues and collaborating with customers.
• Developer Experience:
• Build and improve the end-to-end developer experience on GoDaddy’s internal platforms.
• Tech Stack Learning:
• Learn and work with a modern tech stack that includes a variety of technologies, gaining new skills along the way.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Software Development:
• 5+ years of experience as a software development engineer.
• Proficiency in Node.js:
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong knowledge of Node.js for both back-end and front-end coding.
• Cloud Infrastructure:
• Strong experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) for infrastructure automation.
• CI/CD Tools:
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Agile Methodologies:
• A proactive, action-oriented approach to working with Scrum or Agile methodologies.

Bonus Skills:

• Cloud & Container Automation:
• Experience in automating cloud infrastructure and containers (including GitHub Actions).
• Tech Stack:
• Familiarity with Elastic observability stack and/or OpenTelemetry, Cypress (test-driven development), Markdown, TypeScript, CSS, NextJS, and ReactJS.
