About the Role

The Management Trainee Program (2025) begins as an internship where you will gain hands-on experience across various business functions, including Listings, Operations, Business Development (BD), and Product Management. Top performers will be offered a full-time position with CoinMarketCap.

Your Responsibilities:

📌 Listings & Market Research: Work with the Listings Team to enhance content quality, breadth, and depth on CoinMarketCap.

📌 Project Analysis & Lead Generation: Proactively scout and analyze high-quality blockchain projects and tokens to generate leads.

📌 Data Management: Gather and compile relevant project information for structured entry into Zendesk workflows.

📌 Cross-Functional Support: Assist the Listings, Operations, BD, and Product teams on various strategic and ad-hoc projects.

📌 Market Monitoring & Compliance: Analyze market trends to identify cutting-edge tokens, track industry developments, and assess the qualification of listed projects on the CoinMarketCap platform.

Qualifications:

✅ Currently pursuing a degree (Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field) and in your penultimate year—available for full-time employment in 2025. An MBA or CFA is a plus.

✅ Deep knowledge of cryptocurrencies & blockchain, including swaps, protocols, dApps, and exchange operations.

✅ Experience with analytics & spreadsheet tools (e.g., VBA, VLOOKUP, IF statements) and the ability to work with SQL for data analysis.

✅ Strong organizational & multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail & ownership.

✅ Understanding of tokenomics & market trends, with relevant industry experience.

✅ Experience using support ticket systems (e.g., Zendesk, FreshDesk).

Bonus Skills:

⭐ Familiarity with APIs and financial market data integration.

⭐ Hands-on experience with cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms.
