Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you'll be engaged in the full software development lifecycle, including:

• Collaborative Analysis
• Partner with architects and technical leads to assess solution feasibility and suggest design improvements aligned with architectural standards.
• End-to-End Involvement
• Participate from design through development, testing, and release. Provide post-deployment support to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
• Creative Problem-Solving
• Engage stakeholders, assess existing systems, and develop innovative solutions tailored to business challenges.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Solid experience in Java Web (J2EE) application development
• Proficient with RESTful Web Services
• Experience with Vue.js and SQL databases (e.g., DB2)
• Strong Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and relocate/work at IBM locations in Quezon City (Eastwood or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu

Preferred Qualifications

• JLPT N1-N3 certification
• Familiarity with design patterns
• Background in the insurance industry
• Understanding of Microservices architecture
