Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in marketing, covering one or more marketing fields such as growth, product marketing, brand marketing, or social.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with in-store/online merchandising, channel marketing, and execution.
- Expertise in crafting marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Proven experience in designing marketing strategies and promotional programs.
- Experience developing visual assets, messaging, and narratives.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with teams and job functions, including business development, product management, brand marketing, and external partners.
About the Job:
As a Marketing Manager for Google Play Retail and Payments Activation, you will play a pivotal role in driving the product marketing strategy, providing insights to both internal and external stakeholders. You will inform decisions and guide product launches, as well as growth strategies for Google Play products and services.
This role involves overseeing content strategy, running campaigns, and communicating through various marketing channels. You will create innovative marketing campaigns aimed at educating, engaging, and driving product adoption, leveraging different touchpoints across platforms. You will stay up to date on industry trends and develop comprehensive insights to help solve complex marketing challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development & Rollout: Develop and roll out strategies for product marketing content across multiple channels, with a deep understanding of the product and audience. Craft positioning that resonates with users and effectively brings products to market.
- User Insights: Generate user insights to help cross-functional teams and product partners integrate the user's voice into product development and marketing strategies.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the creation of campaign templates from initial concept to final approval, autonomously managing project components and contributing to global initiatives.
- Coordination & Handoffs: Act as a project coordinator, ensuring smooth hand-offs across global teams. Manage logistics such as translations, regional legal approvals, and documentation.
- Content Consistency: Maintain a source of truth for all marketing copy, including assets, websites, and copy used in offer setups, ensuring brand and messaging consistency.
