Job Description

The Operations Manager plays a key role in Amazon’s fulfillment network, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure timely and efficient order processing. This role involves leading Area Managers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and productivity within a fulfillment center.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Area Managers and shift-based operational teams.
• Monitor and improve shift performance against business goals.
• Collaborate with support teams including HR, Finance, Health & Safety, and Security.
• Design and implement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Analyze data and metrics to improve productivity and resolve issues.
• Support and mentor team members to develop leadership capabilities.
• Act as a link between daily operations and higher-level strategic planning.

Basic Qualifications

• University degree.
• Experience in managing people and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English (advanced) and Polish (intermediate).
• Experience using data and insights to influence business outcomes.
• Background in production, operations, or supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
• Background in logistics or fulfillment environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
