Role Overview

As a Quantitative Researcher on the Commodities Trading team, you will be working in an integrated environment alongside portfolio managers, traders, and software engineers. Your focus will be on developing, improving, and implementing quantitative and algorithmic trading strategies. You’ll leverage your expertise in machine learning, signal processing, and statistical analysis to identify price signals and optimize execution strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop Strategies: Work with portfolio managers and developers to develop and improve quantitative trading strategies for commodities.
• Identify Predictive Signals: Use machine learning, signal processing, and statistics to identify predictive price signals.
• Optimize Execution: Develop strategies to optimize trading execution using market micro-structure analysis.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience in quantitative research within Agricultural or other Commodities markets.
• Programming: Extensive experience programming in C/C++ or Python.
• Academics: Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
