About the Role

As a Research Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing blockchain trends, producing research reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with our research, data, and product teams to generate insights that will benefit our clients and contribute to the industry’s thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

📌 Research & Insights

✔ Conduct in-depth research on cryptoassets, blockchain networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.), and emerging industry trends.

✔ Analyze blockchain and market data to identify patterns, risks, and investment opportunities.

✔ Support Coin Metrics’ research publications, including weekly newsletters, original research, and sponsored reports.

✔ Translate complex data into clear and insightful written reports.

📌 Data & Analytics

✔ Work with on-chain and market data to generate insights.

✔ Create dashboards and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.

✔ Develop Python scripts and SQL queries to analyze crypto market behavior.

📌 Stakeholder Engagement

✔ Consult with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders on research-related inquiries.

✔ Assist in social media content curation, sharing research insights across platforms.

✔ Collaborate with internal teams to refine data products and analytics tools.

Qualifications & Skills

✅ Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in data analysis, research, or finance is a plus.

✅ Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong interest in blockchain technology and cryptoassets.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis (preferred).
• Ability to create dashboards and visualizations to present research findings.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.

✅ Communication & Writing

• Excellent writing skills with experience in research publications.
• Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
