Role Overview:

Galaxy is seeking a Research Analyst to join its Research Team, focusing on providing top-tier research on digital assets for internal and external clients. This role involves analyzing major blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, and leveraging on-chain and market data to generate unique research insights. The position also offers an opportunity to serve as a thought leader, consulting with both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

• Blockchain Network Analysis: Analyze major public blockchain networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana) and their associated ecosystems.
• Research Development: Independently identify and pursue research topics, producing comprehensive reports and insights based on on-chain data, market data, and industry relationships.
• Client Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders and consult with both internal teams and external clients.
• Research Content Creation: Create insightful research reports, presentations, and visual media to distribute to institutional clients.
• Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader on crypto topics, presenting findings through reports, interviews, and live appearances.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-7 years in financial services or technology, with a strong background in cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technologies.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with on-chain data, block explorers, and crypto data visualization tools (e.g., Dune, Flipside, Nansen, Footprint Analytics).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Independence: Ability to self-direct, manage projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Data Analysis: Expertise in technical research, data science, and financial modeling.
