Job Description
As a Sales Development Intern supporting the Latin America region, you'll be immersed in a dynamic, hybrid environment where you'll develop skills in sales, marketing, and digital research. This is a hands-on opportunity to explore the intersection of business and technology while contributing to IBM’s sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Research
- Conduct market research to understand buyer personas and the key factors influencing industry trends and client needs.
- Sales Development Routine (SDR)
- Apply active listening skills to understand internal priorities and client challenges to support sales engagement.
- Effective Communication
- Craft compelling written communications including emails, in-mails, and client outreach in both Spanish and English.
- Technology Awareness
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of AI and emerging technologies impacting business and enterprise solutions.
- Data Management
- Leverage Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present data to support sales and marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of AI, tech trends, and digital business tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Passion for client engagement and business development.
- Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with social media analytics and digital engagement.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Interest in a career in Sales, Marketing, or Technology Consulting.
