Sales Manager, CoinDesk Data (NYC)
Location: New York, NY (On-Site, 3 Days/Week)
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $150K - $190K base salary + discretionary bonus + performance incentives + benefits

The Opportunity
As Sales Manager, CoinDesk Data, you will lead institutional data sales in the US and build relationships with key players in the crypto, digital asset, and financial industries. This is an ideal role for a seasoned sales professional with deep expertise in regulated financial markets and C-suite connections within institutional finance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead data sales for the US market, expanding CoinDesk’s institutional client base.
- Develop strategic relationships with institutional clients in crypto and traditional finance.
- Customize product solutions, focusing on crypto market infrastructure, including digital asset spot trading and perpetuals.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (research, trading, product development, marketing, and compliance).
- Drive business development, expanding market presence and increasing revenue.
- Represent CoinDesk at industry events and conferences, traveling as needed.
What You Bring
- Proven sales experience in crypto, finance, or tech, with a strong institutional network.
- Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency & digital asset space.
- Demonstrated success in sales execution, closing deals, and managing a full sales funnel.
- Excellent client relationship management and strategic business development skills.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven.
- Proficiency in sales tools (Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, G Suite, DocuSign, etc.).
