🧩 About the Role

As a Senior Oracle Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing and optimizing mission-critical databases for Nadex—a fully regulated U.S. derivatives exchange under Crypto.com. You'll develop robust PL/SQL code, support high-performance queries, and ensure database reliability in a fast-paced fintech environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database design with business requirements.
• Conduct performance tuning and ensure optimal data retrieval and system uptime.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in database development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Oracle RDBMS.
• Strong in PL/SQL, relational data modeling, and SQL optimization.
• Familiar with tools like SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning and scalability.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic fintech environment.

🌟 Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Experience with Embarcadero ER/Studio Data Architect.
• Knowledge of Oracle APEX or other Oracle frameworks.
• Familiarity with financial trading systems, FIXML standards, or exchange technologies.
• Experience with cloud database services like AWS RDS for Oracle.
