Job Overview:

ZoomInfo is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Science to lead a growing team of data scientists in building and deploying AI/ML-powered solutions, including recommendation systems, NLP models, and knowledge graphs. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team development and strategic collaboration across product and engineering teams. The position is critical to ZoomInfo’s mission of delivering intelligent, scalable go-to-market solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional data science team (9–15 members) across North America
• Oversee end-to-end development and deployment of AI/ML models in production
• Drive R&D in recommender systems, semantic search, NLP, and GenAI (e.g., RAG)
• Integrate unstructured data into machine learning pipelines and knowledge graphs
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align technical output with business goals
• Publish papers and communicate capabilities internally and externally
• Mentor team members and scale hiring efforts for continued growth

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on data science experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing technical data science teams
• Proven experience delivering ML systems in production (recommendation, NLP, GenAI, knowledge graphs)
• Strong coding and system design skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
