Core Responsibilities

• Leverage Deep Skillset: Utilize your 5+ years of experience from leading international investment banks, strategy consultants, or other key industry players to identify, assess, and execute value-driven M&A opportunities that strengthen the Group’s competitive edge.
• Develop Financial Models: Oversee the creation of financial models, valuation techniques, and multiple streams of due diligence frameworks to evaluate potential transactions. Ensure sound investment decisions that maximize returns, enhance EBITDA, and mitigate risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly engage with each business cluster and corporate function to ensure alignment between business unit strategies and M&A objectives, unlocking synergies, and optimizing integration success.
• High-Level Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with acquisition targets, financial institutions, investment banks, and a range of leading advisors (legal, tax, technical, commercial, integration) to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Negotiation Leadership: Support the leadership in high-stakes negotiations and structuring deals that optimize shareholder value, minimize risk exposure, and maximize financial and operational benefits across the portfolio.
• Integration Strategy Oversight: Manage the execution of integration strategies, capturing synergies, driving operational efficiencies, and generating tangible financial returns while aligning with strategic plans.
• Investment Proposals: Develop impactful investment proposals for the Investment Committee, Strategy & Investment Committee, and Board of Directors, providing strategic rationale, financial justification, and risk assessments.

People Management Responsibilities

• Leadership & Guidance: Provide effective leadership, supervision, and guidance within the merger and acquisition team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Performance Management: Manage the performance of direct reports, offering constructive feedback and recognizing achievements to ensure high performance.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Formulation of Corporate Acquisition Strategy: Participate in formulating the overall Corporate Acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
• Leadership Team Support: Support the leadership team on merger & acquisition best practices, staying updated on trends and emerging practices.
• M&A Program Management: Oversee the strategic planning, development, execution, and evaluation of all merger & acquisition initiatives.
• Budget Review: Review and evaluate project budgets to meet company financial plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years’ experience in merger & acquisition, investment banking, or strategy consulting roles.
• Experience in M&A processes, valuations, financial modeling, and investment presentations.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex negotiations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and executives.
