About the Role:

GitHub is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support enterprise customers in regulated industries (Financial Services & Healthcare). This role involves technical consulting, sales strategy, and customer enablement, helping clients adopt GitHub solutions to drive software development efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in DevOps, DevSecOps, AI-driven workflows, and software modernization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on secure software development, DevSecOps, and AI-driven workflows.
• Bring industry insights, case studies, and best practices to address customer challenges.
• Work with GitHub’s Product & Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and enhance solutions.
• Develop technical strategies to drive GitHub adoption and long-term business transformation.
• Conduct proofs-of-concept (POCs), demos, and sales enablement activities.
• Partner closely with account teams to ensure customer success and growth.
• Lead technical discussions with executives and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, sales engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Git & GitHub workflows, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Experience in CI/CD architectures, security analysis (SAST/DAST), and AI-driven developer tools.
• Ability to solve technical and business challenges related to software delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in public speaking.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in digital transformation and software modernization.
• Experience in regulated industry technical sales (Financial Services, Healthcare).
• Knowledge of enterprise software compliance and security frameworks.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
