Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Kleros
About Kleros
Kleros is at the forefront of decentralized justice, building innovative governance and dispute resolution systems. As a blockchain-based arbitration service, Kleros provides trustless and transparent dispute resolution for the decentralized world.
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our development team and ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our infrastructure. You will work on maintaining and enhancing Kleros' decentralized applications (dApps) while optimizing performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Node.js, Python, Go, Solidity, or other relevant languages.
- Ensure smooth operation of AWS and other cloud-based infrastructure.
- Maintain and improve software interacting with the Ethereum blockchain.
- Architect, build, and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize staking nodes to ensure high availability and security.
- Troubleshoot and mitigate any potential issues related to infrastructure, security, or performance.
- Stay up-to-date with new developments in blockchain technology and security best practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Node.js, Python, Go, Solidity, etc.).
- Experience managing cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of Ethereum smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Ability to work remotely and independently while collaborating with a global team.
- A deep interest in decentralization, governance, and blockchain ecosystems.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working in Web3 or blockchain development.
- Contributions to open-source projects related to decentralized applications.
- Familiarity with security best practices in blockchain and cloud computing.
- Understanding of staking mechanisms and validator operations.
