Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the production of packaging materials on the Slitting Machine according to the production plan, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to production safety rules and procedures
• Support production according to schedule and specifications
• Perform quality checks and ensure defect-free output
• Assist with machine setups and minimize material waste
• Identify, remove, and report defects and anomalies
• Participate in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) initiatives
• Create and update OPLs and SOPs
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area

Qualifications

• Matric (required)
• N6 Technical Diploma or equivalent technical education
• High attention to detail and understanding of the slitting process
• Familiarity with WCM and Quality Parameters
• Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
• Team leadership potential and adaptability to change

Performance Indicators

• Finishing defect waste
• Equipment efficiency
• Mean time between incidents (MTBI)
• Autonomous Maintenance (AM) team progression
