Role Overview

As a Social Media Manager (Part-time), you will lead Orca's social media efforts to expand their reach and grow the community. Your role will include creating and executing targeted campaigns across platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media outlets to drive brand awareness and engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote product releases and integrate data insights to optimize campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Create relevant content for platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn that aligns with Orca’s brand and tone.
• Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement Orca’s channel marketing strategy, including ranking channels, planning initiatives, and executing campaigns.
• Analytics: Establish a growth culture driven by data insights, evaluating the performance of posts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to market new product releases.
• Community Expansion: Continue to expand Orca’s reach to new and existing DeFi users.

Required Skills & Experience

• Crypto Twitter Expertise: Deep understanding of crypto Twitter, especially within the Solana community.
• Hands-on DeFi Experience: Significant experience using Orca and other Solana DeFi protocols.
• DeFi & AMMs Knowledge: Understanding of AMMs and DeFi.
• Marketing Success: Proven track record of executing successful cross-channel marketing campaigns.
• Ownership Mentality: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and working with teams to implement them.
• Creative & Analytical: Strong creative thinking combined with analytical skills to understand user behavior and optimize campaigns.

What Orca Offers

• Salary: $30,000 - $50,000 USDC per year (for US employees).
• Equity: 10,000 ORCA tokens over 4 years (for US employees).

Hiring Process

1. Initial Screen (60 min): Interview with Isaac (COO) to discuss experience and approach to social media marketing, especially within the crypto Twitter space.
2. Second Round (60 min): Interview with Nathan (CEO) focusing on Solana, DeFi, and AMMs knowledge.
3. Final Round (60 min each): Back-to-back interviews with Gloria (Marketing), tmoc (CPO), and Ki (Head of BD).
