Team Mission

The Onboarding Platform team enables Coinbase to onboard users globally, ensure KYC compliance, and scale products efficiently across countries and regulatory environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Golang
• Design scalable, compliant systems using modern cloud infrastructure
• Drive architecture and roadmap execution with cross-functional stakeholders
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and debug complex production issues
• Own reliability, performance, and architectural clarity in feature design

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture and production systems
• Strong coding, testing, and system design skills
• Passion for crypto and building an open financial ecosystem
• Clear and effective communicator; collaborative team player

Bonus Points

• Experience with startup-to-scaleup growth
• Familiarity with A/B testing or growth experiments
• Knowledge of blockchain protocols like Bitcoin or Ethereum
• Hands-on experience with Golang, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB
