About the Role:

As a Software Engineer on the Foundations Team, you will play a critical role in building and launching a unified platform for all Chainlink products. This platform will focus on scalability, automation, and security to facilitate seamless product onboarding and integrate third-party developers. Your work will involve designing and implementing systems that automate node deployments, optimize platform performance, and ensure security.

This is a key position where your contributions will directly impact the development of Chainlink’s foundational infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust solutions, automate processes, and support product integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the architecture team to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for the Chainlink platform.
• Automate node deployments to enhance horizontal scalability, reducing manual processes and improving platform efficiency.
• Work closely with the security team to mitigate potential risks as the platform opens to third-party developers.
• Translate the operational needs of various Chainlink products into scalable platform architecture, ensuring seamless integration with minimal disruption.
• Focus on delivering measurable outcomes that align with business priorities and drive real impact across the platform.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Go.
• Experience with platform development and distributed systems.
• Proven track record in developing production APIs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work across teams and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in setting and building towards SLOs/SLIs for a production platform.
• Proficiency in Typescript or Solidity.
• Passionate about blockchain and Web3 technologies.
• Experience with dApp development or financial infrastructure is a plus.
