About the Role

The F&A team at Crypto.com comprises multiple functions, including Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. Together, this team optimizes global finance initiatives and enjoys being detail-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate income tax returns and GST/VAT returns.
• Maintain tax administration tools such as cash tax trackers and professional fee budget trackers with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare and input tax and transfer pricing journal entries into the enterprise accounting system.
• Liaise with local and overseas colleagues and external tax service providers regarding tax filings, tax projects, and handling tax queries.
• Keep abreast of rules and regulations on tax across different jurisdictions and understand their implications on the group.
• Conduct research into crypto/corporate tax/indirect tax/transfer pricing topics independently or in collaboration with third parties.
• Handle other ad hoc tasks as requested.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business (Advanced degrees or CPA are a plus).
• Ideally 3+ years of professional work experience in accounting and tax; Transfer Pricing and crypto tax experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and data manipulation functions.
• Experience or exposure to HK corporate taxes or international tax.
• Experience working with overseas stakeholders and colleagues.
• Ability to communicate tax issues clearly and concisely.
• Excellent analytical, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a high-growth environment.
• Passionate about start-ups, digital assets, and committed to a long-term career in the industry.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Crypto knowledge is a plus.
• Positive working attitude and willingness to take on tasks.
