Role Overview

We are looking for a Web3 Data Labels Researcher to identify and analyze Web3 entities that accept crypto payments. You will help track illicit crypto activities, analyze trends in darknet markets, and contribute to Web3 security.

This is a fully remote position with rapid growth potential into team lead or management roles.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Web3 Entity Discovery & Research

• Identify and analyze crypto-accepting entities, such as exchanges, gambling sites, mixers, ATMs, and NFT projects.
• Research crypto-related cybercrime on the darknet (TOR browser), including fraud, stolen credit card sales, and laundering activities.
• Label and categorize Web3 actors, adding them to a database for AML and cybersecurity purposes.

✅ Threat Analysis & Monitoring

• Track Telegram, Discord, Reddit, and Twitter (X) for emerging Web3 threats.
• Read industry reports on crypto crime trends and summarize key insights for clients and internal teams.
• Assist in developing blacklists and risk-scoring systems to enhance Web3 security.

✅ Data Management & Quality Control

• Conduct quality control on collected Web3 intelligence data.
• Maintain and update large datasets in spreadsheets, CSV files, and internal tools.
• Contribute to new data-driven products, such as whale alerts and exchange safety rankings.

🚀 Crypto Investigations: Helping track and recover stolen/hacked funds.

Must-Have Requirements

✔️ Experience with cryptocurrency transactions (BTC, ETH, LTC, BNB, DOGE, etc.).

✔️ Strong research and organizational skills.

✔️ Exceptional attention to detail.

✔️ Proficiency in spreadsheets (CSV, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).

✔️ Ability to analyze blockchain explorers (Etherscan, Blockchair, Bitcoin Explorer, etc.).

✔️ Critical thinking skills to identify fraud, scams, and suspicious activity.

✔️ Autonomous and self-motivated in a remote work environment.

✔️ Fluent in English (written & spoken).

Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Required but Beneficial)

➕ Experience with scams, malware, decentralized mixers, darkweb markets, or stolen crypto investigations.

➕ Understanding of Layer 1 & Layer 2 ecosystems (Solana, Tron, BNB Chain, Ethereum).

➕ Familiarity with DeFi platforms (DEXs, bridges, lending platforms, etc.).

➕ Experience using on-chain analytics tools (Chainalysis, Nansen, Dune, Flipside Crypto).

➕ Technical skills: Familiarity with TOR browser, VPNs, OSINT, data scraping.

➕ Fluency in Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or Spanish for analyzing non-English darknet content.
