The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Frontend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of talented frontend engineers and collaborate with other developers to deliver high-quality, production-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, with at least 3 years of experience leading frontend teams, and a strong proficiency in building responsive, scalable web applications using React/Next.js.

As the Lead Frontend Engineer, you will help drive the frontend development strategy, making key decisions on the tech stack and architecture, and ensuring that our products are delivered at the highest quality. You’ll stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies, ensuring we’re building cutting-edge solutions for the DeFi ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a frontend engineering team, ensuring best practices and high-quality code.
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable frontend codebases.
• Build responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend technologies.
• Integrate state management with Zustand and collaborate on using React hooks (useState, useEffect, useMemo).
• Work with TailwindCSS and Chakra UI to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Build applications that integrate with Web3.js or Ethers.js.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DeFi, integrating technologies like Uniswap, Compound, and other leading DeFi protocols.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless product experience.

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in frontend development.
• 3+ years of experience leading frontend engineering teams.
• Expertise in building responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, and modern UI frameworks such as TailwindCSS or Chakra UI.
• Experience with serverless functions using Vercel.
• In-depth knowledge of state management using Zustand.
• Familiarity with Web3.js or Ethers.js for DeFi applications.
• Understanding of DeFi protocols such as Uniswap, Compound, or similar.
• Bonus: Experience with Vim/Emacs, and a passion for Arch Linux.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
