Position: Accounting Manager (12-month contract)

Location: Remote (Taipei, Taiwan)

About the Role:

Manage financial processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Drive process improvements and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze variances and implement solutions to reduce them
• Improve operational financial processes
• Support month-end close and timely reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and controls
• Handle ad-hoc financial tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA or CPA preferred
• 4–6 years relevant experience, including Big Four audit experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving skills
• Independent yet collaborative team player
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
• High accuracy and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
