About the Role:

Udemy is seeking a Senior Manager for their Finance Systems team. This role involves leading the strategy, governance, and optimization of core financial applications, particularly NetSuite, to support Udemy’s growing global business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver system enhancements and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Finance Systems team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
• Develop and implement the strategy and roadmap for Udemy’s financial systems landscape.
• Partner with Finance leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, reporting, and compliance.
• Drive the design, configuration, integrations, and automation initiatives for scalable systems.
• Act as the liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders for financial system initiatives.
• Oversee system controls, security, and governance to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Evaluate and implement new tools or modules to support Udemy’s evolving business models.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in managing finance/ERP systems teams, particularly with NetSuite.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving large-scale finance systems projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Revenue Recognition).
• Experience with Zuora Revenue or subscription billing/revenue platforms is preferred.
• Strong ability to collaborate and influence across Finance, IT, and business teams.
