Job Title:
Lead IT Architect – BCG Platinion
Location: Brooklyn, NY (also openings in many other US cities)
Salary: $190,000/year base + bonus + benefits
Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview:
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Provide deep IT architecture expertise to solve complex technical challenges.
- Drive organizational change and optimize IT best practices.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior client executives, bridging IT and business goals.
- Promote agile methodologies and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Architecture & Solution Design:
- Design solutions including application, data, and system architectures.
- Conduct feasibility studies, proofs of concept, and scale software solutions.
- Review technical architecture and code.
- Assess and optimize complex IT application landscapes.
IT Optimization & Transformation:
- Support IT during mergers and acquisitions.
- Restructure IT processes and organizations.
- Improve application development workflows.
Implementation & Support:
- Define work packages for IT projects.
- Evaluate software and systems including ERP, HR, and data analytics platforms.
- Ensure quality assurance for IT implementations.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Lead presentations, workshops, and foster team collaboration.
- Mentor and manage junior team members.
Team Management:
- Structure junior team member work and provide coaching.
- Review and assure quality of junior output.
- Foster a positive team culture aligned with BCG values.
Innovation & Growth:
- Drive innovation and explore new transformative ideas.
- Build client relationships and support business development efforts.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 6+ years technology consulting or software engineering experience, with 3+ years in IT architecture.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Deep technical knowledge across areas like cloud, integration, data platforms, AI/GenAI, application modernization, process automation, and mainframe architecture.
- Agile mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel for client work.
