Location: Sizewell, England, UK (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-time (part-time considered)
Role Summary:
As a Cost Manager in the Energy sector, you will oversee cost management for major power projects including Distribution, Transmission, and Renewables. Your key focus will be contract administration, cost forecasting, budget control, and ensuring projects meet financial and contractual objectives. You will collaborate closely with clients and contractors to drive cost efficiency, manage contract changes, and improve forecasting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts and monitor project costs to completion
- Forecast and report on budgets, cost variances, and cash flow
- Ensure timely, accurate contract applications and change management
- Collaborate with project teams on KPIs, cost control, and value engineering
- Support governance and best practice adoption
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in relevant field
- Experience with contract management (NEC3/NEC4 preferred)
- Working towards or holding relevant professional membership
