Role Overview:

Lead the creative vision and execution for Canva’s brand across Southeast Asia, focusing primarily on Indonesia and the Philippines. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on creative work—overseeing in-house teams and external partners to deliver world-class campaigns that resonate locally while maintaining Canva’s global brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creative Leadership: Set the creative direction for SEA; inspire teams to push storytelling and design boundaries.
• Campaign Execution: Lead integrated brand and performance campaigns, embedding data and cultural insights.
• Agency Management: Oversee production workflows balancing internal and external creative resources.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing creative team fostering collaboration and growth.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, growth, and product teams regionally and globally to align creative with business goals.

Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years in agency and in-house creative roles, preferably in high-growth or consumer tech.
• Proven success with brand and performance campaigns, especially for direct-to-consumer brands.
• Deep understanding of Southeast Asian markets, particularly Indonesia.
• Strong creative portfolio demonstrating excellence in both brand and performance work.
• Skilled in managing and scaling creative teams and fostering a strong creative culture.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to simplify complex ideas visually and verbally.
• Collaborative leader with empathy, optimism, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
