Role Overview:

The EMESA Platinion Finance Director leads the finance function across BCG Platinion in Europe, the Middle East, and South America (EMESA). This strategic leadership role combines financial planning, transformation initiatives, commercial support, and team development. The director acts as a key business partner to senior leadership and oversees a regional finance team, ensuring alignment with BCG’s growth, profitability, and transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

🧠 Strategic Thought Partnership

• Advise EMESA Platinion leadership with actionable insights
• Develop and implement regional finance strategy
• Evaluate pipeline and backlog to inform business decisions
• Shape scalable financial operating models

📊 Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead planning, forecasting, and modeling
• Translate business metrics into financial insights
• Drive pricing strategies and rate management
• Oversee budgeting, headcount planning, and profitability analysis

💼 Commercial & Business Support

• Support client project economics and pricing strategies
• Review MD business cases and profitability
• Develop dashboards and improve financial reporting tools

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Team Leadership & Transformation

• Lead and develop regional finance team across countries
• Champion digital finance transformations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global and EMESA BCG teams

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business (MBA or CPA/ACCA is a plus)
• 10+ years in progressive finance leadership roles, ideally in consulting or global professional services
• Strong understanding of core finance processes (e.g. FP&A, Order-to-Cash, R2R)
• Experience leading ERP/finance transformation projects
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment
• Fluency in English (German a plus, depending on location)
